Privacy
In one sentence: your images never leave your device. There is no account, no payment, and no cloud image conversion — decoding, conversion, and export all run inside your browser. We keep the site running with advertising; until a third-party ad service is enabled, we set no advertising cookies at all — see section 3.
1. Images and patterns
Images you choose are decoded, converted, and exported in your current browser. We do not upload source-image pixels to any server, and this site exposes no image-upload endpoint and no cloud conversion service. Apart from the ad slots, conversion keeps working with no network connection.
Draft recovery data is stored in your own browser's local storage. It contains grid cells, color codes, dimensions, and view settings — never the reference image.
2. What we do and do not collect
We do not collect: names, phone numbers, email addresses, account credentials, or payment data. This site has no sign-up, sign-in, or payment features.
The hosting provider logs: when you visit, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes the technical logs necessary to serve and protect the site — such as IP address, user agent, request time, and security logs — under its own privacy policy. That data is controlled by the provider; we do not retain it separately or build user profiles from it.

3. Advertising and cookies (important)
Current state: until a third-party ad service is enabled, this site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party ad scripts. The ad slots you see are our own house positions — with no advertiser configured they render a single non-clickable notice card that creates no outbound link and writes no cookie. Visiting this site therefore produces no advertising cookies and no third-party requests.
If a third-party ad service (for example Google AdSense) is enabled later, this section will be updated before that happens. At that point:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads.
- Google uses advertising cookies (including the DART cookie in the past) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can learn how to opt out of third-party vendors' cookie use at aboutads.info.
- Where consent is required (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland), we request your consent before serving personalized ads. You can always decline or clear cookies through your browser settings.
Declining or clearing cookies does not affect image conversion, editing, or export — those features run entirely on your device and do not depend on cookies.
4. Local storage and project files
"Save editable pattern" produces a JSON file containing the project title, cell color codes, and settings. It does not embed the reference image. Check the project title before sharing so it does not reveal a name, order number, or other private information.
Local storage can disappear in private browsing, after browser cleanup, or because of device failure, so save important work as a JSON project or PNG export. You can clear recovery data inside the app, or clear your browser's site data.
5. Third-party components
This site is a derivative work based on the open-source project Bead Grid Studio and is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. See third-party notices for components and attribution.
6. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Changes and contact
When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date on this page changes with it. This policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
